Mod maps are maps you can download into your game that are new and sometimes a lot of fun, sometimes the bots don't know what the hell to make of an area or what to do! I am going to list my mod maps and rank them as good bad or only fun with others. I would like to know what mod maps you guys have and where You got them from and if you like them or not. The two sights that I know are: starwarsbattlefront.filefront.com/ and www.gametoast.com and once you download a zip heres what you do. Extract All, then open the new folder, you should then see a folder with map name or short for it and a read me file, take the level file and put it in to C:/Program Files/LucasArts/Star wars Battlefront/Game Data/Add on, there should be Jabbas Places in there at lest. After this you should be able to play it, and some will do this for you. Please post all mod maps you have below, along with where and version and full name of maps too. I got about 80 mod maps  , most are good, but some arnt. My favs are eddies castle, hoth escape, rougeclones, both bounty hunters, kashyyyk shores, armcjair assalt, myrkr show of fource, sandcrawlers maze map, coruscant city, planet z secter x, and a few more. All are great, if you want, check em out!!!!!! ----leader1 |

All the maps I have so far are from Filefront.com (link above) They are:
1) Kashyyyk; The begging, This map is big but very cool the bots seem to do well on either side and the types of troopers have not changed much, there are air craft and ground vehicles and one Mobile base. 500/500; clone wars only. this map is a GOOD!
2) Kashyyyk Plains v1.2 this one works well too and has air vehicles and ground lots of fun 300/300 smaller works well I give it GOOD!
3) Kashyyyk: Shores This map is big and is fun and has many vehicles air and ground 1000/1000 I give this one a GOOD!
4) Kashyyyk: Wookieeland This one is fun, no vehicles and tree tops only. 200/200 both wars and mod troopers I give it a OK!
5) Naboo: Kandara coast This map is cool as hell, this is a war, Jedi turret's and no vehicles. 2000/2000 both wars, i give it an AWESOME!
6) Naboo: The Phantom Menace This map is cool, its like the movie episode 1 the naboo war. CIS vs GUNGINS only, 3 moving bases for CIS and 2 shields for GUGINS. 600/600 ground vehicles no air and speeders. I give this one an OK!
7) Hoth: Escape This map is a flying only map and only pilot troopers, Civil War only. 200/200 I give this map a GOOD and BETTER WITH OTHERS!
8) Kamino: Nurioca City This map is like a big Kamino with plans too it is great. 300/300 clone wars only, i give this one a GOOD!
9) Geonosis: Arrival This map is fun, Jedi and moving bases, plans too, and destroyable bases too. 1500/1500 clone wars only, modified troops. I give this one a GOOD!
10) Bespin: platforms 2 This map is cool but the bots don't know what the hell to do because the platforms are not conceited. Lots of turret's and plans and big. No troop mods. 200/200 both wars. I give it a OK and BETTER WITH MORE!
11) Tatooine: Boonta Eve This one is ok, but the bots don't know what to do because its so big. It's got lots of stuff but way to big. Jumps and monsters, speeders and plans and some ground vehicles too not the good ones. There are RIDERS. 200/200 both wars, mod troops. I gave it BAD and OK WITH MORE!
12) Coruscant: City This one is cool. Bots work well and it is fun. Plans and mod troops. 300/300 both wars. I gave it a GOOD!
13) Onderon: Dxun Moon This one is cool small and works well. It has 1 mod trooper and no vehicles. 300/300 both wars. I gave it a GOOD!
14) Rogue Clones: First Assault This one is crazy. It's Fun for some people and has Empire vs Clones with CIS in middle. Turits are wired and all troops are modified. 500/500 no vehicles. I gave it a OK!
ALL these maps are fun but the ones that are fun with more are the ones I want you to get because I want to play them agents you. I would get all maps listed as ok or good or better w/ more. I have no idea how many i have.. but the ones i know i will tell you. My favorite is Rogue Clones first assualt. if you are easily overwhelmed, dont play it!another is dude, wheres my kart. It is a replica of mario karts 64. yet another is Hoth: Escape. Viper,break the rules and download it! it is excelent pilot training.  another one I like is Armchair assault. You get to fly in a recliner and it fires lasers oh, and please go by gametoast.com and adopt Tatooine: Boonta eve if you love paintball or dirtbikin' ;D Scion Kevlar, over and out XD |

Ok here are some more that I have added to my game:::
15) Coruscant: Streets This map is fun! It is not to big and has only one vechal for the Emps or Clones. 250/250 no mod troops. I give it a GOOD and GOOD ONLINE!
16) Jedi Temple: Training Hall The map is fun too. No vechals, and it hugh with 9 command posts. 1500/1500 Clone wars only! The Clones are all modified! I give it a GREAT and FUM WITH MORE!
17) Naboo: Ouch Time The map is Cool. Its like the movie with lots of vechals on the CIS side and a long battlefeild, on the other side are 4 GUNGIN sheilded bases. All bases most be destroyed. 1024/2000 Gungins have more but CIS has vechals. I give this one a GREAT!
18) Naboo: Kaadara Coast This map is Awesome, you should get it. I give it a AWESOME!!!
19) Abridon: City This map is cool. Plans and ground vechals, 6 cps amd no mods. 350/350 both wars. I give it a GOOD!

Ok, Now this map is fun as hell to fool around with its called Tatooine : Boonta Eve and its modeled after the race in epic 1. The starting point of the race is in a hanger with 2 types of speeders in it one type per side. CIS speeders or Empirer. There is also a pen of animals around the corner also of the Naboo or Hoth riding animals. And there are land craft to race with but it is very hard to get arround the map with, also there are 2 ships in a hanger 2 race through the canyon with too! You go in a counter clockwise fastion through the canyon fallowing the arrows as you go and watching out for RAIDERS and opponet team mates on the course. There are also jumps, repair robots, obsticals, and Raider Camps as you race through the canyon! This map has more to offer then just a race it also has a modifid trooper called a paintballer this trooper can be used in the Paint Ball Court that has baracades and other stuff to hide arround or jump on. The paint ball trooper is a one shot kill but shoots wildly after 2 or 3 seconds of rappid fire! Its fun to play just the paint ball course for a while but the race is fun as hell. I like to race with at least 3 people and go for 3 laps on animal back is the best. You line up and go and on animals your neck and neck most of the way arround very exciting. :Dwell theres too many replies to read though to see if this ones on the list but hoth:L'Asult is a very good map it acually give the emiper the uper hand like in the movie ie empire gets 6 at-at which is really how it works in the movie  but dont worry there is still a chance for the rebs to win they get x-wings and snowspeeders but the emiper hs the real chance on this map  |
